Job Description We are seeking a talented SEO Manager to join our award-winning team. Sosemo is a well-established, start-up digital marketing agency specializing in managing social, search, and mobile marketing services. The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial-spirited, highly detail-oriented, and possess exceptional problem-solving skills, along with prior SEO and management experience, preferably at an agency. Paid Search and Media experience is a plus. Our office is located at 26 Broadway. In addition to working with a stellar team, our office features beautiful common areas, monthly events, and free snacks and coffee. Please note: our office is following all CDC and state guidelines. Fully remote employees located outside New York City will also be considered and are encouraged to apply. Duties & Responsibilities Conduct keyword research and analysis Provide search engine accessibility consulting Offer optimization recommendations for site content Develop and execute link-building strategies Execute blogger outreach programs Demonstrate value through monthly/quarterly metrics reports Research and stay updated on industry trends Develop new SEO services and refine processes Manage and develop junior team members Qualifications 4-year college degree in marketing, computer science, or related field Strong LinkedIn endorsements for SEO Passion for digital marketing and entrepreneurship Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Decisiveness in a fast-paced environment Highly detail-oriented Basic knowledge of web technologies Working knowledge of social networking sites, search engines, and app stores 4-6 years of experience managing SEO campaigns Prior team management experience Health and pharmaceutical experience is a plus Additional Information Note: This job description is not exhaustive and may include other duties as assigned.
