A call has gone out for an Art Director with experience in ChatGPT prompting to join an EdTech client on a fully remote basis through March 2026. This role requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, ideally during EST hours, and offers a competitive hourly rate between $40 and $50. The primary focus will be on leading the creation and art direction of approximately 1500 illustrations for K-2 educational coursework, utilizing AI tools to generate and refine visuals that enhance the digital reading experience. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Senior Design Director and Lead Interaction Designer, ensuring that all artwork is engaging and accessible for a diverse student audience. Responsibilities

• Create compelling illustrations to accompany educational content in a digital format.
• Collaborate with design producers, photo editors, and contracted illustrators to ensure cohesive visual direction.
• Participate in concept development and write specifications for illustration projects.
• Utilize a custom GPT to generate high volumes of illustrations efficiently.
• Ensure all designs are accessible and relevant to students of various demographics.

• Proven experience in using AI tools for illustration generation and editing.
• Significant background in art directing visual content effectively.
• Expertise in writing detailed specifications for illustration procurement.
• Advanced proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
