Location: Andy’s Pizza DC/MD/VA

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dynamic Cashier to assist in the daily operations of our restaurant.

Job Summary:

The Cashier is responsible for greeting guests, taking orders, and receiving payments at the store register. This role requires experience with duties such as customer service, cleanliness, cash handling and teamwork . This position works closely with the back-of-house team to ensure all orders are consistently correct and that we are always exceeding guest expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests with enthusiasm and provide exceptional hospitality
  • Go above and beyond to resolve guest issues
• Cleanliness
  • Maintain an organized and clean environment
  • Follow all cleaning procedures, schedules, and checklists
  • Follow appropriate food handling procedures and standards
• Cash Handling
  • Accurately and efficiently check out guests
  • Ensure accuracy of all cash drawers and follow appropriate procedures
• Teamwork
  • Collaborate with coworkers to provide a best-in-class experience for our guests
  • Help to achieve the goal of being every guest’s “Favorite Neighborhood Pizza Shop”

Qualifications:

• Friendly and outgoing attitude
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Availability on weekends and holidays
• Strong attention to detail
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to take direction
• Good communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Prior cashier experience
• Experience with Square POS
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish)
