Position Summary:
This role is more than just a CASHIER , it is the opportunity to join a family, and act as a brand ambassador for bridging cultures through food. Take our patrons on a culinary adventure through education, quality customer service and make sure they have a positive experience at our restaurant. We are counting on you to be an extension of our brand.

The CASHIER will be responsible for handling customer transactions, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth ordering and payment process. Serve as first point on contact for guest, taking orders, processing payments and assisting with any inquires to enhance the overall dining experience.

Job Responsibilites: 

• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service
• Process orders accurately for dine-in, takeout and delivery transactions
• Handle cash, credit card and mobile payment transactions efficiently and accuratley
• Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about dishes and provide recommendations
• Ensure the front counter and cashier area are clean, organized and well-stocked
• Coordinate with kitchen and serving staff to ensure smooth order fulfillment
• Pack takeout orders neatly and ensure order accuracy before handing them of customers
• Address customer inquires and resolve minor issues professionally and efficiently
• Follow all food and safety cash handling policies

Qualifications: 

• Prior experience as a cashier, barista or front-of-house (FOH) in a restaurant setting a plus
• Strong customer service skills with friendly and professional attitude 
• Ability to handle cash and operate a POS system accurately 
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills
• Team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 lbs
• Comply with health and safety codes
• Ability to acquire a California Food Handlers license, Sexual Harassment certifications and RBS certifications (before or within 2 weeks of hiring)
