Job Title: Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with over 10 years of experience overseeing project initiatives to ensure timely completion and compliance with Department of the Interior, Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) standards.

Responsibilities

1. Manage all activities related to personnel and subcontractors to ensure effective service delivery.
2. Understand BOEMs critical business issues and align services accordingly.
3. Propose enhancements to core systems and information management services.
4. Collaborate with stakeholders to share risks and responsibilities.
5. Ensure all products and services provide significant business benefits.
6. Partner with other contractors and agencies to enhance project success.
7. Develop cost-effective solutions for data management services.
8. Maintain proactive communication with contractors.
9. Implement a schedule management process for timely task delivery.
10. Recruit qualified personnel with necessary security clearances.

Experience

• PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification
• Understanding of Department of the Interior, Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) environment

Contract Staff Managed

• Technical Consulting/Subject Matter Experts on information management best practices and technologies.
• Application Development and Maintenance Support developers.
• Data Quality Assurance experts.
• Publication Support staff.
• Reference Library Management Support staff.
• Business Analysts.
• Geoscientists and Engineers for Geological Interpretive Tools (GIT).
• BOEM Resource Evaluation Database staff.
• Geophysical Data Archive Support Staff.
• Records Management and Document Imaging/Scanning staff.
• Organization and Maintenance of electronic and physical records staff.
