About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee all financial and facility business operations. The CFO will be responsible for maintaining a system of internal controls, preparing monthly financial statements, and ensuring that the Center's costs are in line with its objectives. This role involves continuous review of factors affecting administration and operation costs, as well as taking necessary corrective actions. The CFO will also be in charge of accounts payable, payroll, general ledger maintenance, and timely submission of required reports. Additionally, the CFO is expected to meet regularly with the practice manager to assess budget compliance and implement a purchasing system. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a degree in accounting or finance with CPA certification, and experience in a medical office setting is necessary. The role requires the ability to protect the Center's financial assets, maintain adequate insurance coverage, and pursue professional development in finance and healthcare. The CFO will work closely with the CEO, the Board of Directors, and the finance committee, and must be adept at analyzing systems and procedures to recommend changes for improved efficiency. The position demands a high level of responsibility, including the preparation of the annual operating budget and the development of control systems as required by auditors or funding agencies.
