Are you ready to rev up your career? Northwest Frozen is seeking a reliable Non-CDL Driver/Forklift Operator to join out logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to and from our warehouses, safely operating a sitting forklift, and ensuring safe and efficient loading and unloading of materials. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Safely operate a forklift to move, load, and unload materials and products.
  • Transport goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries.
  • Inspect and maintain forklift and other equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Load and secure products for transport, adhering to safety standards.
  • Complete supply and product runs for our R&D and Procurement teams
  • Follow all company policies and procedures related to safety and transportation.
  • Assist in inventory management and organization of warehouse/storage areas.
  • Complete necessary paperwork for shipments and deliveries.
  • Collaborate with shipping and receiving, R&D and Logistics to meet operational goals and deadlines.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record a must.
  • Forklift certification preferred; training can be provided by a certified trainer.
  • Must be at least 25 years old and have 9 years of driving experience.
  • Previous experience as a delivery driver required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to lift heavy items, up to 60 lbs at any given time and perform physical tasks.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Primarily warehouse and outdoor environment.
  • May involve exposure to varying weather conditions.
  • Requires standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.

WHAT WE OFFER YOU:

Desirable Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 am ton 5:00 pm with the availability of overtime

Competitive Salary: Competitive base hourly rate based upon qualifications and experience, ranging from $22.00-25.00
