DevOps Engineer page is loaded## DevOps Engineerlocations: Washington - Pullmantime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: 2025-18522**Note:** United States Citizenship is required.**As a DevOps Engineer, a typical day might include:*** Designing, implementing, securing, and supporting cloud native and on-prem infrastructure.* Automating infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.* Monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and performing capacity planning.* Collaborating with developers in IS and R&D to support SEL’s mission of making electric power safer, more reliable, and more economical.* Identifying and mitigating risks in deployment and operational environments.* Creating and maintaining clear, thorough documentation for systems and processes.* Managing and executing infrastructure-related projects.**This job might be for you if you:*** Have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.* Have 2+ years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or a related technical role.* Are proficient with tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Git, and Terraform or similar.* Have experience automating infrastructure and configuration management.* Embrace dynamic, fast-paced environments and adapt well to rapid change.* Have a desire for life-long learning to stay current with evolving technologies.* Can participate in an after-hours on-call rotation.* Practice absolute confidentiality and unquestionable ethics.* Have excellent customer service commitment.* Possess strong writing, documentation, and communication skills.**Preferred Qualifications:*** Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.* Technical background and knowledge of manufacturing and/or engineering processes.**Location:****Pullman, WA**- This position is located in Pullman, WA. We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the pay range may differ if filled at a different level. Our pay ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location.
