Job Description

About Seastreak: Seastreak provides fast passenger ferry services in the New York metropolitan area and Massachusetts, connecting New Bedford to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard. Job Summary: Seastreak is now hiring dock workers for our New Bedford, MA lcoation. Primary Responsibilities:

Assisting passengers with luggage, bikes, etc.
Scanning customer tickets for boarding, and directing passengers onto the Seastreak vessel
Loading and unloading freight shipments
Assisting Seastreak customer service representatives in the office
Being able to answer customer questions
Delivering supplies to vessel personnel

Skills/Qualifications:

Must be able to life 50 lbs
Must have TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) card or the ability to obtain one. (Will be reimbursed by Seastreak)
Must pass a pre-employment DOT drug test and enroll in Seastreak's random drug testing program required by the United States Coast Guard
Can provide the highest level of customer service and professionalism to all passengers
Willingness to familiarize oneself with Seastreak's current offerings and schedules to best assist customers
