We are currently looking for a full-time Dock Worker to load and unload trailers at our Waukegan terminal location.

SHIFTS: Mon-Fri 6:00pm to 2:00am, some overtime may be required based on work load. No weekends!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Load and unload freight from trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
• Prepare, inspect, and clean trailers before loading freight
• Review freight bills for special instructions and inspect freight for damage
• Perform proper forklift inspections and follow forklift operating guidelines and procedures

• 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years forklift experience, certified preferred.
• Ability to push/pull/lift up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Work overtime as required.
• Ability to perform basic math functions such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Ability to work and multi-task in fast paced environment.
• Willing and able to work alongside a variety of people, with emphasis on respect and safety.
• Must be able to pass drug screen.
