Wireless Construction Project Manager (CPM)

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Wireless Construction Project Manager (CPM) to support pre-construction project management activities for our Network Construction team. This role requires strong project management expertise combined with hands-on knowledge of wireless construction components . The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-demand environment and has proven success managing vendors, driving project timelines, and balancing shifting priorities.

This position is an in-office role based in Temple Terrace (Tuesday–Thursday) .

Key Responsibilities

• Lead pre-construction project management for wireless modifications programs (C-Band upgrades, BBUs, sector adds).
• Scope projects to determine material needs, coordinate ordering, and ensure timely delivery to general contractors.
• Conduct vendor meetings and calls, ensuring progress, accountability, and adherence to timelines.
• Manage construction databases, ensuring accuracy and real-time updates.
• Provide consistent, clear, and concise communication and direction to vendors and stakeholders.
• Identify potential project risks and roadblocks; develop and implement mitigation strategies.
• Drive progress through data analytics and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage priorities in a dynamic environment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong wireless construction project management experience (RAN-focused; not wireline or transport).
• Excellent vendor management and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project requirements.
• Strong data analytics and project tracking skills.
• Knowledge of wireless equipment and components, including:
• Ericsson LTE/AWS base stations and remote radio units
• Nokia transport equipment
• JMA and Commscope Remote Electrical Tilt (RET) antennas
• Hybrid cables and CPRI mux/patch panels

Preferred Qualifications

• Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to deliver accurate, timely, and concise communications.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment .
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes, technologies, and challenges with minimal supervision.
• Strong soft skills and leadership qualities — veteran/ex-military experience is a plus .
