We are searching for a host/hostess with outstanding customer service skills—someone who is a real people person. You possess a positive, can-do attitude and enjoy working with others in a fast-paced team environment. You should enjoy welcoming guests to our establishment and guiding them to an appropriate table, ensuring that it is cleared and clean. Make sure there are enough seats for everyone. You’ll need a friendly, courteous manner to answer phone calls and make accurate reservations for guests. $12 hourly

• Help clear and wipe down tables and set up tables with utensils and glassware for the next party
• Direct customers to their seats, ensuring tables are set properly with enough tableware for each diner, water glasses are filled, and menus are sanitized
• Handle booking of reservations, be quick to solve seating problems, and troubleshoot any phone inquiries from customers
• Make sure dining room tables and chairs are neatly organized at all times and that condiments on the table are restocked if low
• Acknowledge all customers warmly immediately upon arrival to ensure their first impression of the restaurant is positive

• Must be able to handle a fast-paced atmosphere with periods of standing on feet for an extended length of time
• This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent GED and a good command of the English language
• Some restaurant, hospitality, and/or food services industry experience is preferred
• Must have excellent communication, customer service, and organization skills, as well as the ability to deal with customer requests in a courteous, efficient, and timely manner
