Security/Reception/Facilities Assistant:
This is a contract position located in the historical Rocks district of Sydney.Major purpose of this role.Nasdaq is seeking a qualified security guard to also perform reception and facility related duties. Thesuccessful applicant will possess a high level of attention to detail, optimal time management skills with theability to multi-task and strong communication skills.This role is essential as a first point of contact for the business, interacting with internal and external visitors byphone, email and in person. The position provides initial security procedures for visitors as well as on-goingsecurity support for the business. Further duties include day to day maintenance of the office, meeting andevent coordination and other ad hoc duties as requested.General responsibilities? Control and distribution of security access passes? Enforce various security policies such as access control? Inspect office area regularly for security, maintenance and safety concerns? Attend emergency procedures training conducted by building management? Perform fire warden and first aid duties? Liaise with building management, contractors and cleaners for general office maintenance? Answer the phone and screen calls? Meet & greet all visitors to the office? Maintain meeting rooms and assist with room bookings? Mail inspection and distribution, open and scan invoices? Arrange couriers? Maintaining inventory such as stationery, consumables, first aid? Arrange catering? Organise and coordinate office social events? Prepare visitor workstations? Business card procurement? Maintain company phone list and seating plan? Kitchen duties? Ad hoc duties as requiredExperience requirements? Meticulous attention to detail? High regard for confidentiality? Superior verbal and written communication skills? Professional and confident client service skills? Computer literacy including Microsoft Excel/Word/Outlook/Publisher
