Job Overview

The Senior Manager, 5G Advanced Network Solutions (ANS) Product Management is a strategist, analyst, customer evangelist, respected leader of execution, and professional relationship builder who is focused on driving innovative and transformational solutions. Reporting to the Senior Director of Product Management, this role is ultimately accountable and responsible for developing T-Mobile's 5G ANS portfolio, creating transformational connectivity solutions across industries in T-Mobile's customer base. You will define long-term strategy of the product portfolio; align road maps; drive and support technical delivery end to end; define scope for releases/product increments; and partner with Marketing, Sales, and Technology teams as well as external partners. You will work closely with T-Mobile and its partners to facilitate high-level meetings between executives and key stakeholders to promote and advocate for 5G ANS product objectives. You will help deliver customer trials and solutions, investigate, collaborate, deploy and support on-site customer use cases, documenting and demonstrating ROI and value of T-Mobile's 5G ANS solutions portfolio. The role leverages deep customer empathy, strategic thinking, project planning and execution, commercial and analytical skills to deliver differentiated products that drive growth. The 5G ANS team uses advanced 5G technologies like Network Slicing, Local Breakout, and Private 5G Networks to create business outcomes, so familiarity with 5G Network technology and related challenges is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategy and goals for the scope of business in collaboration with the Senior Director and peers, engaging customer teams and internal product and technology groups.
• Drive cross-functional alignments with Engineering, Business Assurance, Financial Operations and Accounting to understand current product experiences, identify opportunities, and prioritize feature development.
• Maintain current understanding of wireless industry trends for Enterprises and assess their impact on the roadmap or opportunities for innovation.
• Own lifecycle management of multiple products, including creating, managing, maintaining, and communicating product vision and roadmap; support business cases for product development.
• Develop change management plans and cascade Vision and Strategy to align goals with corporate priorities.
• Provide review and guidance to Product Management and Vendors on execution responsibilities; drive accountability and adherence to contractual terms and funding processes.
• Coordinate activities and communication between internal teams and vendors; manage back-office budget and identify cost-saving opportunities and service quality improvements.
• Represent T-Mobile with Vendors for performance, quarterly reviews, escalations, and issue resolution; build and maintain vendor relationships.
• Assist direct reports with prioritization and resource allocation to ensure scope and outcomes are delivered; contribute to development plans and leadership opportunities for direct reports.
• Create, communicate, and monitor performance improvement plans when necessary; provide timely coaching and foster a culture of constructive feedback.
• Hire, manage, and develop a high-performing team of individual contributors; may serve as Product Manager for a specific product or group of products.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent experience. (Required)

Work Experience

• 7+ years of relevant Product Management experience in an agile software product development environment.
• 2 - 4 years experience managing teams of 5 or more resources in direct reporting relationship in Product Management organization.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Product Lifecycle Management experience delivering large and complex business/technology initiatives. (Required)
• Communication: ability to communicate with Leadership effectively, collaborate, influence; excellent written and verbal communication with ability to present technical information clearly to executives and non-technical leaders. (Required)
• Business Analytics: strong analytical skills with ability to identify/analyze/synthesize product use data. (Required)

Compensation

Base Pay Range: $140,500 - $253,500

Corporate Bonus Target: 20%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The actual pay will be based on location, qualifications, and experience.
