Purpose The Social Science Humanities Associate I will work with Professor Diane Coffey and a small group of graduate students to provide support to ongoing research about health in pregnancy and related topics. The Research Associate may contribute to efforts to translate research for policy makers and to publish pieces for general audiences about the research conducted. Responsibilities Code data using programs such as Stata and perform data analyses Clean, collate, and prepare data Perform literature review, write first drafts of research papers or public facing articles Contribute to administrative support, such as submitting IRB applications Translate research for policy makers and publish pieces for general audiences about research being conducted Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree Experience cleaning and coding data Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
