Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist
Location: Remote
Job Summary The Talent Acquisition Specialist will source, identify, screen, and share forward qualified applicants for various open roles with our diverse clients at PuzzleHR. This individual will be responsible for sourcing and screening top talent in different industries, including but not limited to: finance, education, hospitality, human resources, IT/technology, legal, marketing and sales, health care, real estate, skilled trades, etc. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable candidates that will help find the perfect match for a client's long-term goals.
Job Duties - Develop, facilitate, and implement all phases of the recruitment process.
- Collaborate with the hiring managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
- Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role and industry standard.
- Assist with job posting and advertisement processes.
- Screen applications and select qualified candidates.
- Schedule interviews; oversee preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
- Assist with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and Company policies.
- Maintain consistent communication with each client to assess any updates, needs, or issues.
- Develop and implement creative and innovative sourcing strategies and techniques to build a pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
- Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Education and Experience - Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
- Three (3) plus years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process.
- Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential a plus.
Physical Requirements - Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to move up to 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to participate in video conferences/meetings.
