Element Materials Technology, a leading provider of testing and engineering services, is currently seeking a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual for the full-time position of Technical Writer in our Boxborough, MA facility. The facility is a high production test lab with a focus on meeting customer expectations and achieving high quality standards. The technical writer will generate test reports, procedures and certifications, working closely with engineers, lab technicians and project managers, to produce clear, concise, and accurate documentation for our customers and end-users.
Salary: $58,000 - $62,000/yr DOE
Shift: 7:30a-4pm
Responsibilities* Completion of test report data, test procedures, and certificates of compliance to customers accurately and timely
* Work closely with co-workers on documentation issues when necessary
* Order entry and review
* Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship and able to pass a drug test and background check
* 2 years working in an administrative capacity, with responsibilities like customer interfacing, order/ database entry, report writing, etc., preferably in a technical Program Management or legal environment
* Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat Professional
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment with minimal direction
* Must be detail oriented, demonstrate problem solving ability and possess strong organizational and implementation skills
* Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
* Ability to multi-task and balance a number of competing priorities
