Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist with ARRT (Mammo) and BLS certifications for a high-volume breast imaging department.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Position based in a breast care imaging department providing mammograms, breast ultrasound, bone density measurements, and breast biopsy procedures
• Extremely high-volume setting with around 100 patients seen per day
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 13-week assignment with 8-hour shifts, 5 shifts per week
• Uses Hologic equipment for imaging procedures
• No on-call required
• Must be able to work at least 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve) during the assignment
• Returning staff must have a break of at least 2 years before returning as a traveler
• Request for time off must be submitted up front and cannot be requested after offer
• Department does not accept local candidates
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position

\n \n Requirements\n

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Mammography Technologist
• Current ARRT certification in Mammography required
• Active BLS certification required
• Must have completed at least 1 previous travel assignment
• Proficiency in high-volume breast imaging procedures and use of Hologic systems
• License required if applicable
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
