Our work depends on Systems Administrator Sr Advisor joining our team to work alongside the VDI Engineer to develop and deploy a new VDI rollout project for the command. HOW A SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR SR ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
● Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems
● Work side-by-side with the engineer to maintain and deploy VDI thin clients
● Will work directly with SCCM/MECM to ensure patching/security compliance is handled and with the Service Desk department to troubleshoot issues with the hardware/software
● Project is still new to the command and open to valuable input to successfully complete this project in a timely manner
● Keeping master image and pools update and secured
● This is a hands on, direct with the customer position

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: Degree or Technical Training in VMware and VDI Infrastructure

● Required Certifications: Security+
● Required Experience: 10+ years of related experience
● Required Technical Skills: VMware, GPOs, AD, and VDI
● Security Clearance Level: Secret to start, must be able to attain TS/SCI
● Required Skills and Abilities: Communication and problem-solving skills will be highly valued
● Preferred Skills: FS Logix and/or Horizon Client experience preferred
● Location: On Customer Site
● US Citizenship Required - Yes

The likely salary range for this position is $140,250 - $189,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
