Description The Key Responsibilities of this position. The Operations Manager will successfully lead the warehouse operations and team. This will include building high-performance teams, managing KPIs and ensuring success. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, outstanding leadership and customer service skills. Other warehouse duties may be required, as directed by the supervising manager.
The Reason This Position Exists Within Our Company. Value Creation for our customers: The Operations Manager will lead and coordinate the activities of the team within the warehouse. They will oversee daily, weekly and monthly operations as well as provide excellent customer service while demonstrating the Nellis Auction Core Values.
Value Creation for the company : The Operations Manager will work closely with the warehouse floor team to ensure efficiency, accuracy and safety of the team, while maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse. They will also be available to provide resolution to any customer issues that may arise.
Schedule: Friday-Sunday
Requirements - Lead, manage and coordinate all activities of all warehouse team members.
- Maintain all machines, equipment, materials and supplies.
- Support the General Manager in all company initiatives.
- Oversee the Area/ Assistant Managers and their initiatives.
- Resolve any escalated customer issues, not resolved by Area/ Asst. Manager.
- Maintain optimal level of customer service and mentor other team members in customer service.
- Maximize profitability and setting/ meeting sales targets, including motivating team members to do so as well.
- Ensure company policies and procedures are followed for maximum safety and efficiency - including proper handling and storage of products.
- Basic computer or handheld device skills for inventory tracking.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements - Lifting: Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs frequently.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, and stoop for extended periods (10 to 12 hour shifts).
- Extensive walking is required throughout the duration of each shift.
- Must be able to climb ladders and step stools to access higher shelving.
- Manual dexterity to operate warehouse tools and equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, scanners).
- Must be physically able to work in hot and cold environments.

80,000 a year w/bonus incentives
